Turn up the beat for Aerobics

Help us raise R3,000 for a proper speaker and microphone, so every neighbour in the park can hear the music and the instructor, right to the back row.

Why we are asking

Monday to Thursday at 6 PM, the community comes alive

Monday to Thursday at 6 PM our neighbours get together to move: mothers, grandmothers, young people, first-timers and regulars, warming up side by side. Every second Saturday we start at 05:30 at X3 Park, swapping with the Fun Walk the week after. Aerobics is free and open to everyone, and it has been growing for more than a year.

But aerobics lives on the beat. Outdoors, the music fades into the wind and the people at the back miss the instructor's count. When the music drops, the energy drops with it.

A proper speaker with a microphone changes that. Everyone hears the beat, everyone hears the instructor, and nobody gets left behind at the back. It also comes with us to the hall, the fun walks and family days, so one gift powers every activity we run.

We are asking our community and friends to raise R3,000 together. That is 30 people giving R100, or 60 people giving R50. Every rand goes into the speaker.
